Greetings in the name of Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
But we have this treasure in clay jars, so that the extraordinary power belongs to God and does not come from us. (2 Corinthians 4:7)
We, true believers, have the treasure in us. Although we are like clay jars, which can be easily crushed, the treasure makes us endure all kinds of sufferings and hardships, because the extraordinary power of God is with us. Surely, we might be perplexed, or even being wrongfully persecuted by those who don’t like us, especially due to our faith. Even so, we will not be destroyed because the love of God is always with us in our heart under any circumstances.
For our momentary, light suffering is producing for us an eternal weight of glory far beyond all comparison (2 Corinthian 4:17)
Yes, initially, our suffering looks like a long-draining pain, but it is momentary and light especially when it is compared with what is prepared for us – the weight of eternal glory in Heaven. In order for us to see and taste this, God specifically designs and tailors our suffering. Through suffering, we can truly appreciate who the God is, and experience Him, who loves us so much to give His Only Begotten Son yet when were sinner and against Him. Praise the Lord! His mercy and love endure forever! Anytime, we can run into Him and into His open arm. In His bosom, we will feel His Love and taste what will come when we get to our eternal home. What a blessing! As an eagle soring up sky, we are soring up in faith to God. As soaring up to God, our joy is increasing, and getting into a deeper relationship with God. This experience cannot be compared with anything else on earth, which is hidden to those who do not know God.
Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.(Philippians 4:6-7)
Therefore, we should not worry or be anxious about anything on earth. In every situation, just come to God, and present authentic self to God as prayer and petition with thanksgiving. The God, who loves to listen to our own voice of prayer, will answer with the peace of God that transcends all of our understanding, and will guard our hearts and minds in Christ Jesus. Praise Him, and give the highest glory and honor to Him, who is our true Father, and the One and only God. His name will be glorified ever and ever!
Let’s continue trusting Him in every situation, and loving Him always, even under a situation that is humanly impossible to endure. Continue praying humbly and honestly to God. Then the God, who loves to hear your payer, will give us the unfathomable peace of God, which transcends all our understanding and reasoning in Christ Jesus. Amen!
